He has been ill for several days, but on Monday evening was feeling cheerful, and was talking and joking. About 8:30 Tuesday morning, his daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Thomas, found him dead in his bed. Mr. Rodamer has been a scrap dealer for many years and was known for many miles around. His wife died in March, 1942. He was born on October 20, 1867, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Rodamer, and lived 77 years, 1 month and 8 days. He is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth, wife of Abraham L. Thomas, and Irene, wife of David Spencer, Griggstone, N.J.; two sons, William H., Lewistown, Pa., and James T., Griggstone, N. J.; a sister, Mrs. Albert Rhean, Los Angeles, Cal., and one brother, Demetrius, Summers, Montana. Mr. Rodamer was a member of the Salisbury Church of the Brethren. Funeral services will be conducted by his pastor, Rev. A. Jay Replogle, on Friday at 3:15 p.m. Interment will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery under the direction of Stanley M. Thomas.
