JOHN HENRY RODAMER

  John Henry Rodamer of West Salisbury was found dead in bed Tuesday morning, 
November 28th, of coronary occlusion.  He has been ill for several days, but on 
Monday evening was feeling cheerful, and was talking and joking.  About 8:30 
Tuesday morning, his daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Thomas, found him dead in his bed.
  Mr. Rodamer has been a scrap dealer for many years and was known for many 
miles around.  His wife died in March, 1942.
  He was born on October 20, 1867, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Rodamer, and 
lived 77 years, 1 month and 8 days.  He is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth, 
wife of Abraham L. Thomas, and Irene, wife of David Spencer, Griggstone, N.J.; 
two sons, William H., Lewistown, Pa., and James T., Griggstone, N. J.; a sister, 
Mrs. Albert Rhean, Los Angeles, Cal., and one brother, Demetrius, Summers, 
Montana. 
  Mr. Rodamer was a member of the Salisbury Church of the Brethren.  Funeral 
services will be conducted by his pastor, Rev. A. Jay Replogle, on Friday at 
3:15 p.m.  Interment will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery under the direction of 
Stanley M. Thomas.
