All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/somerset/ ________________________________________________ LYDIA YODER RODAMER Garrett County, Maryland Mrs. Lydia Yoder Rodamer, 91, died early Wednesday morning, October 7, at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Rodamer, with whom she had resided for the past seven years. She was born near Salisbury, Pa., a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Yoder. Early in life she became affiliated with the Salisbury Church of the Brethren, of which she was a life- long devoted member. Surviving are two sons, Milton and Stewart. One daughter (Mary) Mrs. Luther Whitlow, preceded her in death thirty-three years ago. Also surviving are two grandsons, Ralph Whitlow, of Frederick, Md., and Pvt. Allen Rodamer, stationed somewhere in Hawaii. After a short service at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Rodamer with Rev. A. Jay Replogle officiating, funeral services were conducted Friday afternoon at the Salisbury Church of the Brethren by Rev. Replogle, pastor, assisted by Rev. V. R. Gillum, pastor of Grantsville Methodist Church. Pallbearers were Harvey Gortner, John Folk, O. J. Glotfelty, Fred Livengood, Nevin Broadwater, and W. L. Thomas. Interment was in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Salisbury, Pa. Attending from a distance were Mrs. Roy Hayes, Baltimore; Ralph Whitlow, Frederick; and Miss Leota Rodamer, Pittsburgh.
