  Rachel Mae Roddy, 76, of Somerset, died Dec. 7, 2002 at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Nov. 28, 1926 in Pricedale. Westmoreland County, she
  is the daughter of the late James F. Watkins, Janie Mae (Barnett)
  Watkins.  Also preceded in death by brother, James R. Watkins and a
  grandson, Bradley Scott Meyers.  Survived by husband Clarence H.
  Roddy, to whom she was married 46 years on May 12, 2002; daughter,
  Mrs. Paul (Joyce) Meyers of Somerset; grandchildren, Benjamin Paul
  and Melissa Noel Meyers; sisters-in-law, Bonnie Watkins of Somerset,
  Mrs. Warren (Bernadine) Sterner of Rockwood and Dorothy Hartman of
  Windber. Attended Somerset Alliance Church and was a 1945 graduate of
  Somerset High School.  Retired as an operator for GTE and switchboard
  operator for Somerset Hospital.  Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to
  9 p.m. Monday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, Somerset, where
  services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday.  Rev. Scott Ream officiating.
  Interment, Mizpah Cemetery.
