    Catherine K. Rodger, 99, Hooversville, died June 9, 2008, at home. Born Nov. 19, 1908,
  in Ambridge, a daughter of Michael and Julia (Dubick) Shontoski. Preceded in death by
  parents; stepmother, Helen Dubick; husband, Maurice M., in 1989; brothers, Jan, Michael
  and Frank; and sister, Marie Carrara. Survived by children, Jan T. (Angela), Sally
  Meyers, James N. (Lois), all of Hooversville; Robert L., Colorado; Edward M., Wisconsin;
  and Susan (Larry) Fyock, Oklahoma; 16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; and
  sister-in-law, Jennie Shontofski, Hooversville. She enjoyed sewing and crossword puzzles.
  Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home,
  Hooversville, where a vigil service will be held 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held 10:30
  a.m. Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church. The Rev. Karl Kolodziejski, OFM Conv.,
  officiating. Interment POS of A Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Windber
  Hospice, 600 Somerset Ave., Windber, PA 15963.
