  RODGER
  
  Clark W. Rodger, 88, of Hooversville, died Dec. 22, 1989, at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Sept. 15, 1901, in Hooversville, son of Amaniah and
  Jane (Clark) Rodger.  Preceded in death by parents; his wife, the
  former Mildred Yost; son, Ryan; brother, John P., and sister, Ida
  Miller.  Survived by sister, Beulah Stewart of Melbourne, Fla.; also
  numerous nieces and nephews.  Retired from Somerset State Hospital.
  Formerly employed by Sen. J. Irving Whalley and was Somerset County
  Republican chairman for many years.  A member of Hooversville
  Christian Church, Somerset Lodge 358, F & AM; Harrisburg Consistory;
  Jaffa Shrine, Altoona.  Was a charter member of Hooversville Lions
  Club.  Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday
  at the Deaner Funeral Home, Hooversville, where service will be held
  at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Rev. Homer Tantlinger.  Interment, P.O.S. of A.
  Cemetery, Hooversville.
