  RODGERS
  
  Mrs. Ethel B. Rodgers, 86, of Hooversville RD I, died Feb. 18, 1983,
  at Memorial Hospital, Johnstown.  Born June 1, 1896, in Sulphur,
  W.Va., a daughter of Alexander and Elizabeth (McNemar) McDowell.
  Preceded in death by parents; husband, Orie; three brothers and two
  sisters.  Survived by these children: Mrs. Gene E. (Barbara) Miller of
  Stoystown; John T., married to Lois Cable, of Baden; five
  grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.  She was a sister of Mrs.
  Lillian Moore of Bellington, W.Va., and Thomas A. of Hooversville.
  She was a member of the Hooversville United Methodist Church.  Family
  will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday and Monday at
  Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where services will be conducted at
  1:30 p.m. Tuesday, the Rev. J. Wesley Spahn.  Interment, Somerset
  County Memorial Park.
