  RODGERS
  
  Orie Rodgers, 78, of Hooversville RD 1, died March 7, 1975, at his
  residence.  Born May 27, 1896, in Johnstown, son of John H. and
  Barbara (Wentz) Rodgers.  Preceded in death by parents and two
  sisters.  Survived by widow, the former Ethel McDowell; one daughter,
  Mrs. Gene E. (Barbara) Miller, Stoystown; one son, John T., married
  to the former Lois Cable of Pittsburgh; five grandsons; and two great
  granddaughters.  A brother of Dorsey, Silver Springs, Md.; Mrs. Dan
  (Ruth) Morgan and Mrs. Lola Ross both of Hooversville.  Retired meat
  cutter and coal miner.  Member of Hooversville United Methodist
  Church.  Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Saturday and from
  2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Charles R. Deaner Funeral Home,
  Stoystown, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, Rev. J.
  R. Peterson officiating.  Interment Somerset County.
