Born June 27, 1938, in Johnstown, son of the late Jacob Sr. and Helen (Davitch) Rodman. Survived by very loving and dedicated wife of 38 years, the former Patricia M. Marone; sons, Matt Rodman, and wife, Kim, Geistown, and Craig Rodman, and wife, Tina, Richland; daughter, Danette, married to Everett Cook, Beckley, W.Va.; grandsons, Austin and Tyler Rodman; granddaughter, Brittney Rachelle Cook; brother, Randy Rodman, and wife, Susy, Hooversville; mother-in-law, Sophie Marone, Hollsopple; sister-in- law, Carol Ann, married to DuWayne DiRenzo, Hollsopple; brothers-in-law, John Marone, and wife, Kathi, Hollsopple, and Paul Marone, and wife, Peggy, Windber; cousin, Mitzy Velemirovich, Johnstown; niece, Miranda Rodman, Hooversville; and numerous other nieces and nephews. Owner of the former Rodman's Tavern, Hooversville, and Reel's Corner Flea Market and Fruit Market. Retired highway foreman for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. Member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Hooversville. Avid hunter and fisherman. At Jake's request, there will be no public viewing or visitation. A private family service will be held at the Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Davidsville, the Rev. Father Justin A. Ratajczak, OFM, Conv., officiating.
