    Ronald H. Rody, 54, Spotsylvania, Va., formerly of Rockwood, died Aug. 25, 2008, in
  Fredricksburg, Va. Born May 21, 1954, in Somerset, a son of Charles Leonard and Cleo
  Ernest (Foy) Rody. Preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Chester. Survived by
  his wife of 25 years, the former Peggy Peterman; and son, Joshua, Spotsylvania. Brother
  of Bob Rody and wife, Nancy, Emerson, Ga.; Ruth Alborran and husband, Al, Garrettsville,
  Ohio; Linda Meyers, Charles Rody, both of Berlin; David Charles Rody and wife, Janet,
  Alturas, Calif.; and Roger Rody, Meyersdale. He was a 1974 graduate of Rockwood High
  School and an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was most recently employed as a chef at
  Seven Springs and Hidden Valley. He enjoyed trains and the mountains. Family will receive
  friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where a service
  will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, the Rev. Krista Vingelis officiating. Interment POS of A
  Cemetery, Hooversville. Graveside military honors provided by the Somerset County Honor
  Guard. Memorial contributions may be give in his name to the American Diabetes
  Association, 300 Penn Center Blvd., Suite 602, Pittsburgh, PA 15235.
