    Raymond Charles "Chuck" Roessel Jr., 51, Hooversville, died March 3, 2007, at home.
  Born Sept. 22, 1955, in Abington, a son of Raymond Sr. and Audrey May (Speck) Roessel.
  Preceded in death by his father, and stepfather, Howard Battee.
  Survived by his mother, Audrey Battee, Florida; sister, Linda Rae (Jim) Lycanns, Florida;
  beloved girlfriend of 15 years, Carol Jo Walters, Hooversville; these children, Jesse S.
  (Holly) Walters, Hooversville; Jamie L. Walters (Keith) Trimpey, Rockwood; Nicole M.
  (Mike) Gomeringer, Perkasie; and Patrick C. Roessel, Florida; and also "Pappy's"
  grandchildren, Nathan and Erica Walters, Tyler and Titan Trimpey, and Raymond John "RJ"
  Gomeringer and devoted companion, "Cody." He was a self-employed "handson" contractor for
  more than 25 years. A member of the Hooversville Game Protective Association and the
  Greater Ferndale Sportsman's Club. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was an avid
  snowmobile and motorcycle enthusiast. He enjoyed spending time with the grandchildren.
  Chuck was a "people" person who will be greatly missed by his many friends. At Chuck's
  request, there will be no public viewing or service. Interment at P.O.S. of A. Cemetery
  at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by Deaner Funeral Home, Hooversville.
