Born Oct. 28, 1920, in Central City, the son of Harry Lloyd and Beatrice (McDonald) Rogers. Preceded in death by parents and brother, Stanley. Survived by former wife and friend, Leona (Bracken) Spence; son, Marlin and wife, Trudy, Marionville; granddaughter, Jennifer, married to Brian Scott, Blackfoot, Idaho; and great-granddaughter, Elexis. He is a graduate of Shade High School, a World War II Navy veteran and a retired rural mail carrier. He was also a member of Graef's Lutheran Church, Cairnbrook.
