Romesberg, 73, of Rockwood RD 1, died March 9 in Indiana, Pa. He was born Aug. 5, 1900 in Black Township, a son of Joel and Sarah Zerfoss Romesberg. Survived by his wife, Edna Baker Romesberg; one step-son, Merle Baker of Parma, Ohio; three daughters; Mrs. Edgar (Violet) Mays of Slickville, Pa; Mrs. Miles (Betty) Trimpey of Berlin RD 4 and Mrs. Gould (Peggy) Schrock of Indiana, Pa.; One brother, Harvey of Rockwood RD 1 and a half-brother, Scott Snyder of Acosta; one sister, Mrs. Edgar (Mable) Weimer of Rockwood; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents and two half-brothers, Frank and Adam Snyder. A member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church and a former member of St. John Sanner Lutheran Church. His death terminate a marriage union of 53 years. On March 9, Mr. and Mrs. Romesberg would have celebrated their wedding anniversary. Friends will be received in the William J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and until 1 p.m. Tuesday when the remains will be removed to St. Luke's Lutheran Church for services at 2 p.m. with the Rev.
