All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/somerset/ ________________________________________________ MARY ROMESBERG Mrs. Mary (Livingstone) Romesberg, aged 85 years, widow of Levi Romesberg, died about 3 o'clock Sunday morning at the home of her oldest son, Joel Romesberg, of Black Township, from infirmities incident to advanced age. She was born in Summit Township and located in Black Township when 19 years of age. Her husband, Levi, died about 41 years ago. She is survived by these children: Joel, Alexander, Ephraim, Milton and Joseph Romesberg and Mrs. Della Snyder, all of Black Township, and Ralph Romesberg, of Brothersvalley Township. She also left 47 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and six great-great- grandchildren. She was a lifelong member of the Church of the Brethren. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, the cortege leaving the house at 1:30 o'clock and going to the Hauger Church, where services were conducted by Rev. W. F. Berkebile, pastor of the Rockwood Church of the Brethren, assisted by Rev. V. N. Miller, pastor of the Rockwood Lutheran Church. Burial was in the Hauger Cemetery, in charge of Undertakers Mills & Mickey. Meyersdale Republican, January 2, 1930
