  ROMESBERG
  
  Roy J. Romesberg, 62, Berlin RD 4, died April 4, 1987, at home.  Born
  July 20, 1924, in Brothersvalley Township, the son of Ralph and
  Harriet (Pritts) Romesberg.  Preceded in death by father and an infant
  son.  Survived by mother, Berlin RD 4; wife, the former Ruth E. Will
  and these children: Mrs. Larry (Gale) Hay, Berlin RD 3; Ronald D.,
  Columbus, Ohio; Mrs. Jay (Melanie) Cool, Martinsburg, W.Va.; and
  Randall L., Somerset RD 7; these grandchildren: Kristen, Kelby and
  Cassandra Hay and Renea Romesberg.  Brother of Raymond, Dallastown;
  Mrs. Ruth Walker, Meyersdale; Mrs. Rowena Hillegas, Somerset; Mrs.
  Rebecca May, Somerset RD 5; Mrs. Rosaline Leggett, Columbus, Ohio;
  and Mrs. Romaine Laughery, Rockwood.  Retired letter carrier for
  Berlin post office.  Member of Trinity United Church of Christ,
  Wheeler-N-Dealer Square Dancers and Harold Squares.  Served in U.S.
  Marine Corps in China during World War II, and was a member of Harry
  Fisher Post 445, American Legion, Berlin.  Friends were received
  Sunday and will be received Monday, 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at the
  Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home where service will be held at 11 a.m.
  Tuesday, the Rev. Carl W. Schwarm officiating.  Interment, Berlin
  I.O.O.F. Cemetery.  Expressions of sympathy to the American Cancer
  Society or Trinity United Church of Christ Memorial Fund would be
  appreciated.
