  Wilbur G. Romesberg, 82, of Rockwood, passed away May 10, 2000, at
  Patriot Manor in Somerset.  Born July 28, 1917, in Black Township, son
  of Ephraim and Mayme (Swearman) Romesberg.  Preceded in death by
  parents; wife, Doris (Enos) Romesberg, son, Wilbur Jr., and sisters:
  Della Jane Romesberg, Mary Ringer and Helen Forsythe.  Survived by
  second wife, Evelyn (Boden) Romesberg of Somerset; daughters: Sue
  Fitzsimmons, Baltimore, Md.; and Shirley Sowerbrower, Rockwood; and
  son, Wayne, married to Janie Romesberg of Rockwood.  Also,
  grandchildren: Christian Dubbins, Justin Fitzsimmons, Amanda and
  Jessica Sowerbrower and Andrew, Daniel, Jeremy, Ryan and Sara
  Romesberg.  A brother of Merle Romesberg, married to Dorothy Shaffer
  of Rockwood; Paul Romesberg, married to Violet Shaffer of Indianhead,
  Floyd Romesberg, married to Shirley Gaudy of St. Louisville, Ohio,
  Ephraim Romesberg Jr., married to Jean Whitehill of San Jose ,
  Calif., Luella Ogle of Harborcreek, Pa., Betty Clarke of Geneva,
  Switzerland, and Elaine Johnson of Rockwood.  Retired farmer in
  Milford Township.  Former director of the Farm Bureau and a member of
  the New Centerville Rural and Volunteer Fire Department.  Member of
  Milford Grange and the Christ United Methodist Church in Rockwood.
  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, at
  Miller Funeral Home, Rockwood.  A funeral service will be held at 11
  a.m. Saturday at Christ United Methodist Church, Rockwood, Pastor
  Randall Bain officiating.  Interment, Rockwood IOOF Cemetery.  Memorial
  contributions may be made to Christ United Methodist Church, Rockwood,
  Pa., 15557.
