  ROMESBURG
  
  Edward John Romesburg, 62, Dublin, Pa., formerly of Warrington and
  Doylestown, died Aug. 10, 1997, at Doylestown Hospital, Doylestown.
  Born June 8, 1935, in Confluence.  Son of Mrs. Emma Grace (Brocht)
  Romesburg, Somerset, and the late Melvin Edward Romesburg.  Preceded
  in death by infant sister.  He was the former husband of Linda H.
  Griggs of Doylestown.  Survived by sons, Michael E. Romesburg and his
  wife Maria, Doylestown, and Stephen D. Romesburg and his wife Joni,
  Plumsteadville; grandchildren, Becca and Elena Romesburg.  Brother of
  Robert E. Romesburg Sr., Absecon, N.J. Graduate of Cheltenham High
  School and Millersville University, majoring in education.  He
  received his master's degree from Temple University and Penn State
  University in Political Science and Administration.  Romesburg was a
  high school teacher and wrestling coach at William Tennett High
  School and Pennridge High School for 35 years.  He was a former PIAA
  wrestling official.  Member of the Doylestown Chapter 1284, Loyal Order
  of Moose; Doylestown Maennerchor Society and the Kelly's Club.  Was an
  avid golfer.  Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Reed
  and Steinbach Funeral Home, Doylestown.  Services will be conducted at
  1 p.m. Friday at the Somerset Church of the Brethren, Somerset, with
  the Rev. Roger L. Forry officiating.  Interment, Kingwood IOOF
  Cemetery.  Contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, Bucks
  County Unit, 43 S. Main St., Doylestown, Pa. 18901.  Local arrangements
  and services by Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home.
