  ROMESBURG
  
  James R. Romesburg, 87, of Rockwood, passed on March 1, 2002 at
  Somerset Hospital.  He was born July 28, 1914 in Upper Turkeyfoot
  Township.  Son of the late William ant Irene (McVay) Romesburg.  Preceded
  in death by parents, wife Audrey (Geason) Romesburg in 1988, brother
  Paul Romesburg, and sister Olive Wenzel.  Survived by sisters Hazel
  Walker and Alice Ruffo, both of Frostburg, Md., Ethel Putman of
  Rockwood, and Viola Engle of Oregon, Ohio, and brother Glenn
  Romesburg of Warren, Ohio Also survived by nieces and nephews.  He
  was a retired assemblyman for General Motors in Sandusky, Ohio, and
  was a veteran of the U.S. Navy in World War II.  He was an avid
  sportsman and outdoorsman.  Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m.
  Sunday at Miller Funeral Home, Rockwood, where a service will be held
  at 11 am. Monday. Revs. James Monticue and Duane Riddle officiating.
  Interment, Kingwood IOOF Cemetery.
