  ROMESBURG, Robert E. 01/23/07  Daily American
  
   Robert E. Romesburg, 78, Sewickley, died Jan. 20, 2007, at his home, after a brave
  battle with cancer. Born in Somerset, a son of James and Annie (Heller) Romesburg.
  Preceded in death by parents, three brothers and three sisters. Survived by wife, Mary E.
  (Roby) Romesburg, and the following children: Anna Buckley, Gloria Gill, Rita Smith,
  Robert Jr. and Richard; and a sister, Viola Williams, Somerset. Also survived by several
  grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a former member of the Somerset
  National Guard (28th division) and served in Germany during World War II. A funeral
  service will be held at the Syka Funeral Home, Ambridge. Interment will be held 2 p.m.
  Tuesday in the church cemetery. Donations may be given to the American Cancer Society.
