Romesburg, 78, Markleton, died Oct. 29, 2003, in Somerset Hospital. Born Sept. 29, 1925, in Uniontown, a son of the late Winfield Scott and Nellie (White) Romesburg. Survived by companion of many years, Bobbi King of Markleton, and sisters, Garnet Glenn, Somerset, Mildred Saunders, Pittsburgh, and Betty May of Pacific Grove, Calif., also nieces and nephews. A U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. A graduate of Somerset High School. A member of Union Local 66 Operating Engineers, Monroeville, Ursina American Legion Post 946, and the Turkeyfoot Fish and Game Association. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Friends received from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where a service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. James Monticue officiating.
