SPURGEON ROMESBURG

  Spurgeon M. Romesburg, 36, died Wednesday morning at his home in Garrett, 
following an illness of several days.  Mr. Romesburg is a son of the late Mahlon 
and Louise (Albright) Romesburg, he was born August 31, 1910.  He is survived by 
his wife, the former Pearl Valentine; a son, Spurgeon, Jr., and the following 
brothers and sisters: Harry Romesburg, Canton, Ohio; Margaret (Romesburg) Judy, 
Karl and James Romesburg, all of Garrett; Lula (Romesburg) Sipe and Anna 
(Romesburg) McQuade, both of Central City.
  Funeral services were held at the Johnson Funeral Home in Berlin, on Friday 
afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. Robert S. Nagle, pastor of the Berlin Lutheran 
Church officiated.  Interment was made in the Highland Cemetery, Garrett.
