Romsburg, 236 Carroll Parkway, Frederick, Md, died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 1983, at Citizens Nursing Home. He was the husband of Carrie E. (Lichty) Romsburg. He was born Jan. 24, 1900, in Garrett. He was the son of the late Theodore and Lillie (Thomas) Romsburg. For over 20 years he had owned and operated the Hillside Coal Co. and then the Hillside Motor Co. for 22 years. He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church and the Leaders Bible Class of the church. He is survived by his wife and two sons, Paul E. Romsburg and Roy C. Romsburg, both of Frederick, Maryland; three daughters, Mrs. Harold Fogle and Mrs. Paul Rockwell, both of Frederick, and Mrs. Milton Fry, Tuscarora, Md.; two sisters, Mrs. Elaine Seegers, Sharon, and Mrs. Ratchel Blackwell, Longview, Texas; 13 grandchildren; three great- great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends were received at the Smith, Keeney, Bassford Funeral Home, 108 E. Church St., Frederick. Funeral services were held at the funeral home. The Rev. David S. Cooney, associate pastor of the Calvary United Methodist Church, will officiate. Interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick. The Republic, February 17, 1983 [R898]
