For some days previous to her death it was known that the patient's condition was critical, but it was less than a day before her death that her condition took a sudden turn for the worse, and the relatives and friends residing at a distance were notified. Her father, Harry L. Lint, who had gone to Morgantown, W.Va., about ten days previous to visit his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Thornley, and who enroute suffered the fracture of several ribs, besides being taken ill upon his arrival there with gallstones and rheumatism, on Friday morning, in company with his daughter and her two children, arrived here and later learned of the really serious condition of their daughter and sister at Hanover, where Mrs. Lint had already been for several weeks. They hastily made preparations for the trip to Hanover. Mr. Lint, weak physically from what he had only recently passed through, and stunned and broken by the news of his daughter's death which was received here late on Friday night, felt in the condition to drive his car to Hanover, so he and his daughter, Mrs. Thornley, accompanied Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Gnagey, who were leaving about the same time for Mont Alto, Pa., to bring their son, John Gnagey, back from the Pennsylvania Forestry School to spend his summer vacation at home. The party reached Hanover at 5:30 Saturday morning. Mrs. Rorabaugh, who was the eldest child of Mr. and Mrs. Harry H. Lint, was a student in the Blue Ridge Academy at New Windsor, Md., where she met Mr. Rorabaugh, also a student in the same institution. Later they were married and had since resided at Hanover, where they enjoyed the esteem and respect of all. Besides her husband and her parents, she is survived by the following children, Rosedry, Drucille, Margaret and Robert, all at home. A sister, Mrs. Lucille Thornley, Morgantown, W.Va., and a brother, William Lint, of Lynch, Ky., also survive. The funeral was held Monday afternoon from the Rorabaugh home in Hanover, but no details as to the services have been received. The many friends here of the Rorabaugh and Lint families deeply sympathize with them in their great bereavement. Meyersdale Republican, June 4, 1931
