  ROSE
  
  Arthur W. Rose, 71, of Kennedy Road, Stoystown, died June 17, 2002 at
  home.  Born June 7, 1931 in Reading Miles, son of Edith (Tressler) Rose
  of Stoystown, and the late Clarence Rose.  Also survived by these
  brothers and sister: Markel married to the former Betty Cornell of
  Gambrills, Md., Bernard of Stoystown, Opal married to Donald J.
  Hagans of Kantner, Frances Weyand of Stoystown, and D. Jean Shaffer
  of Hollsopple.  Also numerous nieces and nephews.  Former employee of
  U.S. Steel, and B and R Trucking.  Former operator of Art Excavating.
  Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at
  Deaner Funeral Home Stoystown, where service will be held at 2 p.m.
  Thursday.  Rev. Gerald L. Myers officiating Interment Odd Fellows'
  Cemetery, Stoystown.
