  ROSE
  
  Benjamin F. Rose, 90, of Bedford County, formerly of Windber, died
  Nov. 25, 1988.  Born Sept. 22, 1898, in Somerset County, son of the
  late Charles and Liza (Leverknight) Rose.  Preceded in death by wife,
  the former Minnie Onstead; sons Ralph W. and Lester J., and twelve
  brothers and sisters.  Survived by sons, the Rev. Calvin E., married
  to the former Ruth Dixon of Sycamore, Ohio; Delbert G., married to
  the former Myrna Hesketh, Marion, Ohio; and Maine, married to the
  former Mildred Foltz, Prospect, Ohio; also 21 grandchilden and 31
  great-grandchildren.  Brother of Katherine Davis, Geistown.  Also
  survived by daughters-in-law, Violet (High), widow of Ralph, of
  Bedford; and Susan (Carson), widow of Lester, Chambersburg.  Friends
  were received Sunday at Meek Funeral Home, Inc. Windber, where
  service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Richard Whetstone
  officiating.  Interment, Richland Cemetery.
