  CHARLES H. ROSE
   
  Charles H. Rose, 88, of Confluence RD 3, died Dec. 10, 1977, at his
  home.  Born Nov. 4, 1889, in Upper Turkeyfoot Township, he was a son
  of the late Levi and Annie (Leighletter) Rose.  He is survived by his
  wife, the former Harriet Smith and the following children: Mrs.
  Katherine Snyder, Norwalk, Calif.; Albert, Confluence RD 3; James,
  Confluence RD 2; Mrs. Ethel Pletcher, Rockwood RD 3; Mrs. Jean Owens,
  Burbank, Calif.; Kenneth, Listonburg; Mrs. Bertha Pruitt, North Utica,
  N.Y.; Mrs. Verna Reynolds, Santa Ana, Calif.; Eugene, Mason City,
  Iowa; and Charles, El Monte, Calif.  He is also survived by 37
  grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Margaret
  Wilson, Windber.  He was preceded in death by a son, William. His
  death ended a marriage of 65 years.  He was a member of Confluence
  Nazarene Church.  Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Humbert
  Funeral Home with Rev. Donald DeHaven officiating.  Interment, Jersey
  Cemetery.
