  Doris (Riggs) Rose, 70, of Crescent City, Fla., formerly of Somerset,
  died March 17, 1984, in West Volusia Memorial Hospital, Deland, Fla.
  Born in Ligonier, Feb. 14, 1914, daughter of the late Jetur and Mae
  (Scott) Riggs.  Preceded in death by one daughter, Janice, in 1966.
  Survived by her husband, Walter R., of Crescent City, Fla.; children:
  Walter Jr. and William Elwood, both of Somerset; Mrs. Doris Kathryn
  Schrock and Cynthia Ann Rose, both of Rockwood; 9 grandchildren; two
  sisters: Mrs. Nellie McQullis and Mrs. Audrey Fulcomer, both of
  Ligonier.  Member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Somerset. Lived in
  Crescent City for the past 13 years.  Retired teacher from the
  Rockwood Area Schools.  Member of the DAR.  Friends will be received at
  the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home Wednesday 7-9 and Thursday 2-4 and
  7-9 p.m.  Funeral service will be conducted Friday at 1:30 p.m.,
  Trinity Lutheran Church, the Rev. H. James Meyers officiating.
  Interment, Rockwood I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
