  Edith Mae (Tressler) Rose, 98, Kennedy Road, Stoystown, died July 17, 2005, at
  Windber Hospice. Born Jan. 9, 1907, in Confluence, daughter of George Elmer and
  Janey (Wiltrout) Tressler. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Clarence; son
  Arthur; sisters, Pearl Roberts and Florence Zack; and brothers, Clark and
  Harvey Tressler. Survived by children, Markel E. Sr., married to the former
  Betty Carnell, Gambrills, Md.; Bernard and Frances Weyand, both of Stoystown;
  Opal, married to Donald Hagans, Kantner; and D. Jean Shaffer, Hollsopple; 13
  grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren. Sister
  of Bessie Bird, Beaver Falls; Hazel Tissue, Markleysburg; Calvin Tressler,
  Confluence; and Gladys Jenkins, Somerset. Member of Somerset Christian
  Fellowship. Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and
  7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where a service will be
  held 3 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. William Dodson officiating. Interment Odd
  Fellows Cemetery, Stoystown. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be give to
  Windber Hospice, 600 Somerset Ave., Windber, PA 15963.
