  Harvey James Rose, 66, Confluence RD 2, died Jan. 31, 1986, at
  Uniontown Hospital.  Born Aug. 7, 1919, in Confluence RD, he was a son
  of Charles and Harriet (Smith) Rose. Besides his mother, he is
  survived by his wife, Frances Tishue Rose: and the following
  children: Roger, Confluence RD 2; Carol Coddington, New Carrollton,
  Md.; James, Mercer; Mark, Springfield, Va.; Jill Sines, Confluence;
  Jack, Falls Church, Va.; 10 grandchildren and the following brothers
  and sisters: Mrs. Kathryn Snyder, Norwalk, Calif.; Albert, Confluence
  RD 3; James, Confluence RD 2; Mrs. Ethel Pletcher, Rockwood RD 3; Mrs.
  Jean Owens, Burbank, Calif.; Kenneth, Addison RD; Mrs. Bertha Pruitt,
  Norwalk, Calif.; Mrs. Verna Reynolds, San Diego, Calif.; Eugene;
  Mason City, Iowa; and Charles, ElMonte, Calif.  He was a member of the
  Ohiopyle Grange, the Old Time Fiddlers and belonged to Carpenter's
  Local 2274, Pittsburgh.  Friends will be received after p.m. Saturday
  at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence.  Funeral service Monday at
  1:30 p.m. in the Confluence Nazarene Church with the Rev. Raymond
  Schermerhorn officiating.  Interment, Jersey Cemetery.
