ROSE Miss Janice Margaret Rose, 20, Somerset RD 4, died July 3, as a swimming accident. She was born June 26, 1946, in Allegheny County, a daughter of Walter and Doris (Riggs) Rose, also of Somerset, RD 4. Miss Rose is survived by her parents, two brothers and two sisters: Walter R., Jr., Somerset RD 1; William E., Somerset RD 4; Mrs. Kathryn Schrock, Rockwood, and Mrs. Cynthia Wiedner, Friedens, RD 2. She is also survived by her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Alma Rose, Ligonier, RD 2, and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jetur Riggs, Ligonier, RD 2. Miss Rose was a member of Samuels Lutheran Church. She graduated from Potomac State College, Keyser, W. Va., with honors. Service will be conducted today (Thursday) in Samuels Lutheran Church, with Rev. Gene Abel officiating. Interment will be in Rockwood IOOF Cemetery. Prayer service will be conducted today in the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, Somerset. Meyersdale Republican, July 7, 1966 [R936]
