  JOHN W. ROSE 
  
  John W. Rose, 36, of Listonburg, died Dec. 9, 1979, in Oakland (Md.)
  Hospital.  He was born Nov. 6, 1943, in Meyersdale, a son of Kenneth
  and Mildred (Lichty) Rose, of Addison RD. Besides his mother and
  father, he is survived by his wife, the former Judith L. O'Roark, and
  two children: Shannon Leigh and Kenneth Charles, both at home.  Also
  survived by his grandmother, Mrs. Charles Rose, of Confluence RD 3.
  He was an Addison fire policeman and past president of the Addison
  Fire Co.  He was a member of the F&AM Lodge No. 554 of Meyersdale, and
  the 32nd Degree Harrisburg Consistory.  Friends were received at the
  Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence.  Services were held at the
  Confluence Christian Church with the Rev. Eugene Bonnell officiating.
  Interment, Addison Cemetery.
