  ROSE
  
  Raymond E. Rose, 84, of Somerset, died Dec. 26, 2003, at his
  residence.  Born July 24, 1919, in Monessen, he is the son of the late
  Axle and Rosa (Bock) Rose.  Also preceded in death by his wife, Arlene
  (Cook) Rose and brothers, Edward, Paul and Toviol Rose.  Survived by
  sons, Marlin Rose married to the former Beverly Hyatt of Butler and
  Brian Rose of Somerset. Grandchildren, Timothy and Jennifer Rose of
  Butler and Brianna and Arica Rose of Somerset.  Member of Trinity
  Lutheran Church and the American Legion.  U.S. Army veteran of World
  War II serving as a Generals Aide.  Retired office manager for
  attorney William Kimmel.  Friends received from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday
  in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where a service will he held
  at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Robert L. Hoover Jr. officiating.  Interment
  in Husband Cemetery will be private.
