  ROSE
  
  Wilbur D. Rose, 48, of RD 4, Clay, N.Y., died March 23, 1976, in his
  residence.  Born Jan. 4, 1928, in Somerset, son of Edward S. and
  Christine (Ankeny) Rose.  Preceded in death by one son and one sister.
  He is survived by his widow, the former Edith Kirch; these children:
  Roy, Donald, Richard and William, all at home.  He was a brother of:
  Mrs. Carl (Betty) Ely and Glenn, both of Somerset; Kenneth, Somerset
  RD 1.  He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Ciciro, N.Y.
  Friends received in the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home Friday 2-4 and
  7-9 p.m., where services will be conducted Saturday at 1:30 pm., the
  Rev. John Cox officiating.  Interment, St. John's Cemetery.
