He was born April 1, 1926 in Frostburg, MD, the son of the late John E. Rosenberger and Grace (La Rue) Rosenberger. Arthur was also preceded in death by four brothers: Emory F. Rosenberger, Tommy Rosenberger, Gurney Rosenberger and John Rosenberger; and five sisters: Edna Kimble, Dessie Drees, Mary Often, Clara McKenzie and Alberta Rosenberger. Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Hilda (Clark) Rosenberger; one daughter, Linda Ann Holler and husband Donald C., Mechanicsburg; two grandsons, Jonathan and Nathan Holler, Mechanicsburg; one sister, Evelyn Baker, Frostburg; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Rosenberger was formerly employed in the bobbin stores at the former Celanese Corporation, and he was retired from the Rockwood Insurance Co. Arthur was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. He was a member of Saint Mary's Catholic Church, Pocahontas, and the Farrady Post 24 American Legion, Frostburg. Arthur was a loving husband, father and grandfather, and he was a good neighbor to all who knew him. Friends were received at the Durst Funeral Home, P.A., 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Christian Wake service was held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. by Father Albert J. Anselmi. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint Mary's Catholic Church, Pocahontas, on Thursday at 11 a.m. with Father Albert J. Anselmi as celebrant. Interment will be in the Finzel Cemetery. Military honors will be accorded at graveside by members of the Farrady Post 24 Honor Guard. Memorial contributions may be made to Saint Mary Church, Pocahontas.
