Rosenberger, 49, died suddenly at his home 414 North St., Meyersdale, Wednesday, October 19, at about 5 o'clock. He had been employed with the J. M. Cook and Son Candy Co. Inc. as a salesman for 28 years. On Tuesday morning he made his usual calls but complained of not feeling well when he returned at noon. After lunch he became quite ill and went to bed, where he died early the next morning. He was born June 4, 1900, in Meyersdale, the son of Russel and Nancy (Livengood) Rosenberger. He is survived by his wife, Gladys Wellen Rosenberger and two daughters, Lois Jean and Mary Ann. Also surviving are three brothers, William and Allen of Ravenna, O., and Stanley of Los Angeles, Calif., and two sisters, Mrs. Carle Ware of West Virginia and Mrs. Charles Iseman of Baltimore. Mr. Rosenberger was a World War I veteran and a member of the Loyal Order of Moose. Funeral services with the Rev. L. A. McKinley officiating, will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 at the Price Funeral Home, where friends are being received. Meyersdale Republican, October 20, 1949
