  Herbert F. Rosey Sr., 68, Hooversville RD 1, died Oct. 16, 1993, at
  the Conemaugh hospital.  Born May 15, 1925, in Hooversville.  Son of
  Joseph and Zurie (Hutzel) Rosey.  Preceded in death by brother,
  Joseph; sister, Mary Burkett, and one son, Milton Rosey.  Survived by
  wife, the former June S. Yoder.  Surviving children are: Doris Jean,
  wife of John Sullivan, Somerset RD 4; Margaret, wife of Dean Deal,
  Hollsopple; Herbert Jr., married to the former Carol Miller,
  Hooversville RD 1; daughter-in-law, Marsha (Plummer) Rosey of
  Summerhill, widow of Milton; John, married to the former Diane Jerin,
  Hooversville RD 1; 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
  Brother of Mike Rosey, Johnstown; John Rosey, Summerhill; Jim Rosey,
  Beaver Run; Sam Rosey, Ohio; Herman Rosey, Somerset; Barb Plashka,
  Beaverdale; Verna Vernalli, Sidman, and Violet Kolson, Windber. Army
  veteran of World War II.  Retired coal miner. Death ends a marriage
  union of 49 years.  Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 Monday and
  2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Mason Funeral Home, Davidsville,
  where service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Rev. Kenneth
  McMertney.  Interment, Custer Cemetery, where there will be a military
  graveside service.
