  Herman Franklin Rosey Sr., 80, Mountain View Road, Friedens, died
  March 8, 1998, at Somerset Hospital.  Born Dec. 11, 1917, in Garrett
  County, Md., son of Joseph and Zurie Ellen (Hutzell) Rosey.  Preceded
  in death by his parents; wife, the former Margaret Frytak, who died
  May 17, 1993; sister, Mary Burkett; and brothers, Joseph and Herbert
  Rosey.  Survived by son, Herman F. "Bud" Rosey Jr., married to the
  former Sarah Kenmore, Mountain View Road, Friedens; granddaughters,
  Mrs. David J. (Marchelle) Peck, Rockwood; Amanda and Suzanne Rosey,
  Friedens; Ms. Cherie Lynn Shultz, Berlin; grandson, William Lee
  Shultz, Rockwood; great grandchildren, Amber, Brandon and Bryan Peck,
  Fetesha Shultz, Shanice Stahl, Tonya, Kayla, Keyla, Shawna, Leah and
  Leroy Shultz; brother of Michael Rosey, Johnstown, Mrs. Vera
  Vernalli, Sidman, John Rosey, Salix, James Rosey, Beaverdale, Samuel
  Rosey, Lorain, Ohio, Mrs. Harry (Barbara) Plishka, Beaverdale and
  Mrs. Albert (Violet) Kolson, Windber.  Member of Pleasant Hill United
  Methodist Church and U.M.W.A. Local 2200.  Retired coal miner from
  Scurfield Coal Company.  Friends will be received from 79 p.m., Monday
  and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Tuesday, at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where
  services will be conducted at 1 p.m., Wednesday, with the Rev. David
  S. Jack officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
