Born July 2, 1907, in Italy, son of Oreste and Margaret (Lasagna) Rosey. Preceded in death by parents, and brothers: Ernest, Americo and Sunday. Survived by widow, the former Ruby Fyock, to whom he was married for 49 years, and these children: Joseph Clair, Cairnbrook; and Jerry, married to the former Nadine Stiffler, Hooversville RD 1; also grandchildren: Amy, Patty. Gcorge, Vic, Mike and Joey. Brother of Mrs. Allan (Alyce) Ober, Hooversville, Former coal miner. Retired from Somerset State Hospital, former pitcher in Somerset County Baseball League. Member of Local 998 U.M.W.A., Somerset County Old-Timers' Association, Hooversville Sportsmen's Association, Jenner Rod and Gun Club, and Hooversville Church of the Brethren, where viewing will be held from 11 a.m. until time of service at noon Tuesday, with the Rev. Harry W. Bassett officiating. Interment, P.O.S. of A. Cemetery, Hooversville.
