She was the eldest daughter of the late Nathan W. and Lydia (Stevanus) Keim. She was born near Springs, August 12, 1894, and moved with her family to Fentress, Va., in 1910, where she spent her girlhood. Several years later she moved to Pinto, Md., where she met and later married Clarence A. Ross. Five sons, three daughters and her husband survive her. She is also survived by her mother, Mrs. Lydia Schrock, Farmington, Del., and the following sisters: Mrs. Mary Lepley, Meyersdale; Mrs. Mabel Tennefoss, Fentress, Va.; Mrs. Ida Cain, Norfolk, Va.; Mrs. Amanda Gilbert, Portsmouth, Va., and Mrs. Stella Hoyle, Cumberland, Md. Funeral services were held in the Mennonite Church, Pinto, Md., of which she was a member. She was buried in the church cemetery. Meyersdale Republican, January 11, 1940
