  Barron E. Ross, 77, of Somerset died April 24, 1998 at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Sept. 28, 1920 in Brothersvalley Township.  Son of the
  late George A. and Bertha (Barron) Ross.  Preceded in death by
  brothers Kenneth, Charles and Merle and sisters Gladys, Effie and
  Alverda.  Survived by wife of 51 years the former Norma Beal, and sons
  Gary married to the former Linda Alexander, Meadville, and Dave
  married to the former Linda Miller of Bridgeville.  Also grandchildren
  Tami, Allison, Jason, Erin and Kurt Ross.  Brother of Mrs. Leonard
  (Carrie) Martin, Berlin, and June Omerzo of Acosta.  Member of the
  First Christian Church of Somerset.  Veteran of the U.S. Army Air
  Corps in World War II.  Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
  p.m. Monday at Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, Somerset, where service
  will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Rev. Daniel Nicksich
  officiating.  Interment, Salisbury Cemetery.
