BERTHA E. ROSS

  Mrs. Bertha E. (Barron) Ross, 53, wife of George A. Ross of Berlin, died 
Thursday afternoon, Apr. 20, in the Somerset Community Hospital, after 2 weeks' 
illness.  She was a daughter of David and Clara (Meyers) Barron.
  She was 53 years old.  Her death was caused by pneumonia.  She was a devoted 
wife and mother.
  Surviving are her husband and five children - Carrie and June, at home; 
Barron, with the 
Army Air Forces at Malden, Mo.; Charles, with the Army in England, and Merle, 
with the Navy at Sampson, N.Y.  She is also survived by her aged grandmother, 
Mrs. Carrie Bowser, 94 years old.
  Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 Sunday afternoon at the Johnson & Son 
Funeral Home by Rev. S. M. Whetstone, pastor of the Berlin Brethren Church.  
Interment in the Berlin I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
