  Beulah Bell Ross, 76, of Grantsville, Md. died Aug. 29, 1997 at
  Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland.  Born March 29, 1921, in
  Frankville, Md., she was a daughter of the late Lloyd Albert and Nora
  Lucille (Wilt) Bittinger.  Preceded in death by her husband, Cecil E.
  Ross; a daughter, Carolyn; a sister, Leora Irene Shaffer; and three
  brothers, Robert, Lloyd Jr. and Marshall Bittinger.  Survived by a
  son, Ray William Ross, Somerset; a brother, Wilbert Bittinger,
  Grantsville, Md.; two sisters, Pauline Handwerk, Grantsville and
  Alice Kaiser, Cleveland, Ohio; three grandchildren, Patricia
  Stanczyk, Judy Frey and William Ross; and six great grandchildren.
  Member of Jennings United Methodist Church and was a homemaker.
  Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Sunday and from 10 am. to
  time of service at 1 p.m., Monday, at Newman Funeral Home,
  Grantsville, Md.  Pastor Brenda Shreve officiating.  Interment in the
  Grantsville Cemetery.
