Ross, 67, of RD 2, Grantsville, Md., died Friday, Oct. 17, IRS, at Meyersdale Community Hospital. Born in Jennings, Md. on Jan. 20, 1919, he was the son of the late Charles and Rose (Spiker) Ross. He was employed as a maintenance worker for Harbison-Walker Refractory. He was a member of Jennings United Methodist Church, Grantsville American Legion, Post 214, and served as private first class in the Army during World War II. Surviving are his widow, Beulah (Bittinger) Ross; one son, Ray Ross, Somerset; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Johnson, Grantsville, Md.; and Edna Ross, Oakland, Md.; and three grandchildren. Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home where services were conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Bruce Brumfield. Interment Grantsville Cemetery.
