  MRS. CHARLES ROSS 
  
  Mrs. Emma M. Ross, 86, of Friendsville, Md., died Nov. 3, 1975. A
  native of Friendsville, she was a daughter of the late Augustine and
  Etta (Schroyer) Friend, and was the widow of Charles O. Ross Sr. She
  was a member of First Christian Church.  Surviving are two sons,
  Charles O. Ross Jr. and James A. Ross; two daughters, Mrs. Cleda
  Clemmensen and Mrs. Leta Aultman, all of Friendsville; 15
  grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a foster sister, Mrs.
  Harold B. Friend, Cresaptown, Md.  Funeral service was held Thursday
  afternoon with Rev. L. Gene Bonnell officiating.  Interment in the
  Steele Cemetery.
