Ross Sr., 61, of Meyersdale, died April 12, 1983, at Meyersdale Community Hospital. He was born Sept. 24, 1921 in Philadelphia, a son of Victoria (Wagner) Ross, of Gibbsboro, N.J., and the late John A. Ross. Also survived by his widow, Helen Louise (Livengood) Ross; two sons: Frank G. Jr. of Friendsville, Md.; and John D., Maple Shade, N.J.; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was the brother of: John D. and Mrs. Dorothy Kuchler, both of Voorhees Township, N.J.; and Joseph F., of Columbia, S.C. He was a veteran of World War II; a member of the 104th Calvary, 28th Division 2B; a life-member of the volunteer fire department, Voorhees Township; member of the High Point Trail Riders and active in the Maple Festival. Friends were received at the Leckemby Funeral Home where services were held. Interment, St. Paul Cemetery. The Republic, April 21, 1983 [R990]
