Ross, 78, Salisbury, died Oct. 19, 1972, in Meyersdale Community Hospital. Born in Elk Lick Township, April 15, 1894, he was a son of the late George and Sarah (Foust) Ross. A veteran of World War I, he was a life member and chaplain of the Salisbury American Legion and had been a member of Salisbury Church of the Brethren. Surviving are his wife, the former Myrtle Poleman; a daughter, Mrs. Ethel Kimble, Meyersdale; one grandchild, three great-grandchildren and a brother, Abraham Ross, Boynton. Funeral service was conducted Saturday afternoon in Thomas Funeral Home, Salisbury, with Rev. Ernest Rumbaugh officiating. Interment in Salisbury Cemetery.
