MARY CATHERINE ROSS

  Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Catherine Ross, 84, widow of the late James 
Ross, who died at her home at Jennings, Wednesday night, Jan. 23, were held at 
the Winterberg Funeral Home, Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock.  Rev. Ira S. Monn 
of Salisbury Evangelical Reformed Church officiated.  Interment was made in the 
Reformed church cemetery, New Germany.
  Mrs. Ross was the daughter of the late Catherine Ann Custer and Peter Stark.  
Surviving are two sons, Charles Ross, Jennings, and L. J. Ross, Cumberland; 
three sisters, Mrs. Jane Wilt, Keyser, W.Va., Mrs. Maria Broadwater, Avilton, 
and Mrs. Anna Kiddy, Lonaconing; 27 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and 4 
great-great-grandchildren.  She was a member of the Reformed Church.
