  Ray William Ross, 58, 120 Indigo Lane, Somerset, died June 16, 2005, at his
  home after a lengthy illness. Born Oct. 25, 1946, in Meyersdale, he is the son
  of the late Cecil and Beulah (Bittinger) Ross. He is also preceded in death by
  a sister, Carolyn. He is survived by his companion, Rose Lindeman; one son,
  William M. (Christine Snyder) Ross, Somerset; three daughters, Patricia (James)
  Stanczyk, Friedens; Judy Frey, Lonaconing, Md.; Michele (Tom Camarota) Shook,
  Columbus, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; and two aunts, Pauline Handwerk, Grantsville,
  Md., and Alice Kaiser, Cleveland, Ohio. Mr. Ross was of the Methodist faith. He
  was a flagman for S&S Communications and was a former member of the Somerset
  Volunteer Fire Department. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Sunday at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, Md.,
  where a service will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday. The Rev. Dr. Ruth Ann Campagna
  officiating. Interment will be in Grantsville Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy
