  Emily L. Rowe, 93, of Somerset, died April 6, 1987, at Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born Nov. 28, 1893, in Meyersdale, daughter of
  the late William and Laura M. (Burnside) Rowe.  Survived by a sister,
  Mrs. Ella Shaffer of Somerset; a brother, Lawrence L. of Johnstown;
  also a number of nieces and nephews.  Member of the Methodist Church.
  Member of Eastern Star, Chapter 153, Hialeah, Fla.; past president of
  the American Legion Auxiliary, Chicago, Ill.  Friends will be received
  from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale,
  where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev.
  Charles Harper officiating.  Interment, Union Cemetery.
