  James Watson Roy Jr., 74, San Diego, Calif., died Oct. 17, 1982, at
  home after a long illness.  Born July, 1908, son of James Watson Roy
  Sr.  Survived by his wife, Margaret E.; and three sons: Charles E.
  of Jaffree, N.H.; Tod A., San Diego, Calif:; and James W. III,
  Albuquerque, N.M.  A graduate of Gettysburg College, he worked as a
  sales representative for Republic Steel Corp., was a self-employed
  busihessman, and a general manager of a steel fabrication plant in
  Philadelphia until 1955, when a series of strokes debilitated him.
  Services were held in San Diego.
