Roy, 67, of West Catherine St., Somerset, died June 7, 1981, Somerset Community Hospital. Born April 2, 1914, in Somerset, son of the late Charles F. and Anna (Wilson) Roy. Also preceded in death by daughter, Ann Elizabeth, and sister, Jean Millar. Survived, by wife, the former Katherine Norman;' and these children: Charles, New Cumberland, Pa., and Peggy, Somerset RD 6; also 2 grandchildren. Brother of Mrs. Lawrence (Nancy) O'Neil, Evergreen, Colo. Member St. Paul's United Church of Christ where he had served as an elder and deacon. He was past commander of the S.S. Crouse Post 181 American Legion, a retiree of the REA and a veteran of World War II. Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home where services will be conducted 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, the Rev. Richard Shellenberger officiating. Interment, Husband Cemetery.
